Guild Sales

NorthBay Guild members hold a number of sales throughout the year, featuring everything from jewelry to artwork, and handbags to ceramics. The products are affordable, and make excellent gifts. These sales are usually held in the lobbies of NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital.

Proceeds from these sales are returned to the NorthBay Guild, which in turn uses the funds to benefit a variety of hospital programs, including:

• providing patients in the Joint Replacement program with tote bags of goodies and lap blankets to use as they recuperate, and attendance incentives to young mothers participating in the ABC Prenatal Clinic education program
• new recumbent bikes for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation; and occupational and physical therapy equipment and tools for Rehabilitative Services, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
• purchasing a second Body Fat Analyzer, a very popular screening device at health fairs.
• purchasing several LED flat screen televisions for the emergency department waiting rooms, hospital waiting rooms and cafeterias at both hospitals, and to replace a number of televisions in patient rooms
• new testing equipment for incubators and fetal monitors
• support for the highly successful Nurse Camp program
• touch-screen laptops for pharmacy technicians to help improve their efficiency
• supplies for the Guild's Care Carts and for patient care.
