The 24th Annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee is just days away, and the buzz about the event has been building to a crescendo.
Set for Friday evening, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Nut Tree Complex in Vacaville, the tent is up, tables are set and vendors are preparing to move in and start serving.
Helping to create added interest in this year's Jubilee is a special magazine that hit the streets two weeks ago. The four-color glossy magazine pays tribute to the sponsors, vendors and participants who have made the Jubilee such a success over the years, and describes the Hospice & Bereavement programs and some of the people who have benefited from the Jubilee's fund-raising efforts.

This year, organizers expect more than 110 wineries, restaurants and breweries to be serving samples of their finest fare. Dancing to The Time Bandits follows a popular Silent Auction. The auction is expected to include such items as exotic getaways, jewelry, sports and movie memorabilia, and wide selection of gift baskets.
